Online training
The cost of conventional training doesn’t stop with the course fee; there is also the time away from work and the travel and subsistence costs to consider. Our customers tell us that they love our interactive face-to-face training but sometimes need to minimise the diversion of their staff from their primary roles. This is particularly important when large numbers of people are being trained.
Working with eLearning experts we’ve developed two online interactive training courses.
Introduction to Lean
The “Introduction to Lean” course takes approximately 90 minutes. Progress through the course is evaluated and recorded by a Learning Management System so that students can manage their learning for themselves. The online Lean training is accredited and on successful completion of the course a certificate is issued electronically. This short Introduction to Lean course is particularly effective in getting staff familiar with Lean principles and speaking the right language very quickly – particularly useful when kicking off a Lean initiative. This online Lean training course can be blended with our face-to-face 2 day top up course for students wishing to become Lean Practitioners - minimising time away from their jobs whilst still maintaining effectiveness.
Introduction to Overall Equipment Effectiveness
The “Introduction to Overall Equipment Effectiveness” course takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. The course teaches you how to drastically improve your productivity without having to invest in new machinery. Running through the same Learning Management System as the “Introduction to Lean” course, students can manage their learning objectives for themselves and develop a training record that is centrally stored. By understanding the OEE measure, you can make impressive improvements to productivity.
