Introduction to Lean - 1 day
This course is an excellent starting point for understanding Lean in the service sector. It covers the basics of Lean, combining hands on exercises with case studies. The course brings the subject to life - giving a clear understanding of how the concepts can be applied in practice. it is suitable for staff at all levels who need to understand the concepts of Lean.

Lean Practitioner top up - 2 days
In combination with Introduction to Lean, this course is designed to give a greater depth of knowledge on the core principles of Lean and their application in working practice. On completion of this course you will be equipped to undertake Lean projects and implement what you have learnt. This course is targetted at staff who will play an active role in Lean projects, either as an engaged line manager or as a Lean specialist or internal consultant.

This course is aimed at people who will lead more challenging Lean projects. It provides the additional skills required to engage with 'clients' to tackle their problems and deliver the solutions and benefits they need. You'll learn how to identify the real opportunities for improvement in a process / department and how to address them. You'll know how to juggle the competing interests of stakeholders and understand how to deal with people who can be a little challenging at times.
