OEE’s Lean service training is accredited by Cardiff University, the foremost academic institution in Europe on the subject of Lean. Their Lean Enterprise Research Centre has developed the Lean Competency System that OEE‘s training follows. Assessment is through a combination of examination and evaluation of project work ensuring the training’s effectiveness and practical application. Moreover, connecting accreditation to Lean projects that deliver real benefits is an effective way to ensure a return on training investment.
Not all students or customer organisations require accreditation and for some the requirements of the Lean Competency System curriculum are not always a good fit with their goals.
